The Founder's Vision
The Delights Shop isn’t just a place to purchase sweets, it’s the realization of a much deeper vision. Our founder set out to create a space where people can slow down, connect, and truly experience the art of flavor.
At its core, the shop is about sharing Jordanian and Levantine heritage in a modern, accessible way through dates, chocolates, and desserts that are both familiar and surprising. Every bite, every sip is a reflection of the richness of our region: the warmth of cardamom, the smoothness of date sugar, the aroma of roasted nuts, the unexpected depth of simple ingredients.

The Delights Shop was designed to be more than a place to buy sweets, it’s a sensory space that reflects our values of quality, warmth, and cultural pride. From the earliest sketches to the final materials, every detail was carefully considered to create an experience that feels both elevated and deeply rooted in our heritage. We blended modern functionality with Levantine textures, drawing inspiration from local architecture, natural elements, and the richness of our ingredients. The result is a space that’s inviting, refined, and full of intention, a perfect backdrop for the journey of flavor we offer.
Throughout the design process, we worked hand-in-hand with designers, craftspeople, and visionaries to bring this space to life. We were proud to collaborate with Covvo by Asma Bkerat, the talented interior design studio behind the shop and café’s unique concept. From the soft curves of our product displays to the natural light that floods the seating area, each element was crafted to draw people in and create moments of connection. In this section, we’re proud to share a series of renderings that capture the creative vision and evolution of the space.

At The Delights Shop, we’ve developed a line of exclusive desserts made with our in-house made date sugar, a natural, mineral-rich sweetener crafted in our own factory. This isn’t just a substitute; it’s a better way to enjoy sweets.
These items are exclusive to our new location, offering guests a taste of what dessert can be when done right, healthy, honest, and still indulgent.
The Date Sugar Chocolate Muffin
Rich, moist, and deeply chocolatey, made without a single gram of refined sugar. Sweetened only with our date sugar, it’s a wholesome indulgence you’d never guess was naturally sweet.
The Date Loaf
Soft, spiced, and deeply satisfying. A slice of comfort made with warm cinnamon, pureed dates, and our signature date sugar. Perfect with a date latte or on its own.
